An amazing, and in my opinion very accurate word.
I attended Morningstar Ministries for a number of years.
It started when I got their Journal that was mailed out once a
a month and in those days, people were really contending for
the Lord as in those days, the 90’s, we felt He was very needed
in our lives and society.
Many were getting their “downloads” and were having visions
and visitations. Vineyard’s Music was leading many of us into
His Presence and we were meeting Him there! Miracles were
happening and prophetic words were coming to pass, on a
personal level and a country and global level.
You can’t fake being called if you are, and many WANT to be!
So you have those who try real hard and those who are sbumbling
and working to figure this out, and others just looking for what ever
their gift is! And, we have those who want to monetize everything.
Some get really good at that but it’s still up to us to discern how much
of any and all of this truly is of the Lord.
We see the professionals and the gifted. But when it’s endorsed
by the tangible presence and notable dynamics of the LORD,
people get excited and then everyone wants to get in on the show!
Some are treated good and some are treated terribly, and when
mistakes are made, some are treated horribly. Some things were
just not what they were raised on and some things, that may be
God, are just pressured heavily, testing them.
But let me share that God’s Word and TRUE Spirit will not fail you!
Easy? No, not always, but at times things will unlock your soul into
new dimenations that cause you to hunger and really grow and
mature more in the Lotd.
Cliques can be everywhere and some don’t mean to be, but they
are sharing similar experiences often. But they are not God’s
“last word.” It just seems cutting edge and people want to press in
to see the good changes He promises and that seem to be
manifesting to some degree!
I’m sharing all that because I have been there and I am proud of
some of thie things I have been involved in that brouth the
Kingdom of God forward. People of different backgrounds can
get togetjer and find His joy, they become more educated and
enlightened and new thoughts can change their lives.
The problem or challenge is when it bcomes the (false) “have’s “
and “have nots” and wrong hindering judgments are made. But
what you must learn is that God is jealous for His special place
with you and when some others are pulling you away, He gets
jealous! And when He does, not much will go right.
It’s okay, He will see you through, if you value that “Presence” time
with Him. Not only that, He has a calling that He wants you to
fulfill, AND He wants you to see things the way HE wants you to
see them! You will find, as time passes, that this is happeing to
many over and over.
I spent quite a bit of time with different ministries and learned a
lot over those years. God has no plans to leave anyone out!
And there are a number of people and ministries that I don’t
agree with or even understand, but you can pretty much tell over a
bit of time and experience if they mean well for you, while you
are learning for yourself how to judge and assess your own
personal growth and ministry.
God is evaluating your “little life” in this great might big world and
history! He knows what He is doing! So work on that.
All that to say, is that I know there are the highs and lows. But
today I heard Chris Reed’s message and got a big witness that it
was (first of all) Biblical, and on target in the Spirit. It was a message
on discerning the end times and I want to encourage you to hear
it! It’s powerful. Truth is.
I didn’t agree with the second message so much by another man
because I didn’t hear a doctrine I could agree on. Doesn’t mean the
brother is not nice and doesn’t have SOME truth, I am just not into
guessing and “fantasizing” things. I think the devil can get a big
inroad there. I used to want to wish things, but sound doctrine is
what will get you where you want to go. I wish I didn’t have to bring
that up, but it’s the mssage that follows Chris’s message.
I met Chris before he came to Morningstar and felt that he was a
real nice gentleman. Paul Cain was a friend of mine and he told
me that Chris’s prophetic gift worked a lot like his did. Some things
you just know and you test it to confirm it. For them it’s strong on
words of knowledge. It’s very wrong to judge and compare others
on what GOD has given them, but it is comforting and helpful to
learn more with someone you can relate to, especially when it
comes to the supernatural. Israel is in a time of war that is
affecting many of us, including out nation, as I write this.
I think you will find Chris’s message an anchor for many of you in
your soul. The Word is and it is written! Stick with the Word and
you won’t get off track but will easliy find your come back road if
you do get distracted. Don’t depend on fantasy but TRUTH!
God will explain it! :)
Chris’s message starts at the 48:44 mark, which may help you if you
are time constrained. I’ve been to many good conferences there even
though the Lord has moved me into pushing forth now, more than
just recieivng from others. HE DOES expect you to share with others
in significant ways, because someone did that for you! Many, in fact!
But He will still lead you to good manna and fresh pasture to keep
you growing and learning and healthy! Life IS a challenge and we
are meant to help! This will help!
