Prophetic Symbolism by Pam Clark

Prophetic symbolism is baby talk to a prophet. Strangers can figure out baby talk. Parents get excited over it, because communication has begun. But just because a baby says “ba ba” for its bottle does not mean much more than it wants to consume something because of its “feelings.” It is, after all, a baby! Yes, of course babies need nourishment, but so do adults. That baby, while precious, and hopefully wanted, (God wanted it), is not yet a contributing person to society or to the kingdom we are living in. Right now, it is just needy and is requiring attention. But our experience and faith says more can be at work, so we honor it. There is mankind’s desires and there are God’s desires. Do you know the difference? Man is pretty into self. But can they awaken to a higher Order? It’s one thing to be programmed, another to be awakened. The prophetic calling is not a part time job. Many treat it as such, but if it is a part time job to some, they have not invested their lives. Many may see a symbol, like an eagle or a lion or a sheep, or a bridge, or a star, but those are baby symbols. Will they change society and turn them to God? No. They are just cheering symbols, IF they are even interested in that for more than five minutes! Do you hear and know and do? “Many are called, few are chosen,” Jesus said. We honor “the few, the proud, the Marines” but what does it really take to be one? LOTS of hardship and training! A lot of indoctrination into the way things are done in that order! We can study the marines, but it sure does not make us one, and, can we accomplish the mission? Their bodies and their minds take on disciplinary pressures, so they can accomplish tasks that others cannot. Then they are looked up to for what they have done, not just what they wished. Do they get to question and negotiate their callings? Can they argue with those over them? When you move into deeper waters, your assessment skills need to be right on! Do they care if you see a small boat in your dreams? No, they expect you to know how to ride and navigate and maintain one! In human life, we have human commanders. But in God’s Life, He is the Commander. Is there that spiritual discipline in your life? The investment God asks, especially in a prophetic one, will be different than what man comes up with, and even both can work for a very good cause. Some really do want healing and good order and mental health for people, and they have to be good examples. God will be asking prophets to come into HIS Life and it will carry a Message! But we have to learn His Order. What about emotions? What about them? Whose world are you going into? What about needs? Can you deny yourself to get to know Him and what He wants? That comes in different ways! Prophets don’t always look alike! Yes, you can wear a t-shirt, a sweat shirt, wear a bracelet or a necklace, but the wannabes may be a message for you! Do you understand that? Symbols are meaningful, but without investing into the Spirit of God, IN YOU, it’s just a good idea among may. Where do you think America is right now? You can go out at high tide or low tide, which do you think is easier and better? What does it take? When you invest in God, your soul goes with it. God has messages and a Message! We so need to "Hear Him!" It takes time and work and even a lot of dying to self. But once you figure out the formula, you don't want that Presence and Spirit to leave! The Personality of the Lord is Holy. Worshiping Him is key. The enemy will want you to see all the faults, especially your own, to disqualify you. That is hard. But the biggest lie is that you can't get to Him. He came and suffered and died for a reason, to lift you up to Him. We have to want it, to cooperate and to learn constantly how to die to self. The enemy works to stop that. But we have to get past that to FIND “the power of an endless life. " We have no part in that , BUT to recognize it and agree with His Life over ours. Hebrews 7:14 "For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest 16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. " Who wants to die when you have seen or sensed even a part of His Glory? It is amazing to us to realize that there is an endless life, and that life is forever and has and is Love. We can't earn that! We have to believe and receive it, and the change comes by His power, not ours. People get confronted by this truth and fear surrender. They (we all) get convicted. Jesus humbled Himself on the Cross, so we would know it's possible. He took the judgment, if we can believe it! And HIS power does the work. We just have to receive it and welcome Him, in us.
